As proud owners of Out of Staters Bicycle Club (OOS), Tim and Lynne Haeffner have been helping cyclists experience the adventure and community of RAGBRAI since 2005. Based in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, OOS is dedicated to providing comfort, convenience, and exceptional service every step (or pedal) of the way. They want you to have an unforgettable experience in Iowa! 

Tim works as a tax preparer during tax season and continues RAGBRAI planning when tax season ends. Lynne is an educator and enjoys working with parents and students to find the best K- 12 educational option. Their three children (now adults!) have worked alongside them for the past 20 years and play key roles in keeping everything running smoothly. Danielle is a math teacher and her husband, Drew, works in the IT department in a local school district. Kaleb owns a construction business and also has recently started a non-profit organization. Style is a realtor and is in property management and his wife, Ella, is a labor and delivery nurse. 

During RAGBRAI, Danielle helps with communication and crew coordination, beverage sales and provides sleeping pad rentals. Kaleb and Style work with Tim to manage logistics before and during the week. The shower trucks are owned by Kaleb who oversees them to make sure riders can clean up and recharge each day. Style manages the tent rental service and ensures our campers have a comfortable place to rest after a long ride. All of them help manage operations and planning throughout the year. Together, Tim and Lynne with their family are the foundation of the OOS charter and have maintained one of the largest official RAGBRAI charters, serving riders from across the country and around the world who come to Iowa for the ride of a lifetime.

OOS is more than just a business for the Haeffners – it is a family. It is a family of bikers who join them each year for their vacation. The Haeffners strive to treat each rider like family before and during the event, working through all of the logistics that are a part of RAGBRAI.
